THE MILQUETOAST
He wore casual shoes. He wore casual clothes. He had casual hair. He combed it in a casual way. He drove a casual car. He lived in a casual house. He had a casual wife. He had casual children. He lived in a casual neighborhood. He had a casual job.
He ate milquetoast dinners at his milquetoast home. He smiled at his milquetoast wife with his milquetoast teeth as they chewed their milquetoast food. His wife wore her hair in a milquetoast way. Their children went to milquetoast schools.
His two cars were mediocre colors. He had a mediocre couch. He had a mediocre coffee table. He had a mediocre TV. He had a mediocre bedroom set. He had mediocre beds in the other bedrooms inhabited by his mediocre children. His son played on the mediocre basketball team at his mediocre high school.
He lived a dull life. His dull daughter went on to a dull college. He had dull grandchildren. He had a dull retirement. He watched dull TV shows. He died a dull death on dull day after a dull illness.
